An exciting opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing data centre developer delivering a significant portfolio of hyperscale and AI-ready infrastructure projects across Spain.

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to take ownership of the delivery of a major data centre development from project inception through construction, commissioning and operational handover.

Working alongside a dedicated Design Director and technical leadership team, you will be responsible for programme delivery, stakeholder management, commercial oversight and overall project execution on one of Spain's most ambitious data centre developments.

The Role

As Project Lead, you will act as the client-side delivery owner, coordinating all project functions and ensuring the project remains on schedule, within budget and aligned with strategic business objectives.

You will work closely with senior executives, consultants, contractors, utility providers, local authorities and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of a large-scale data centre development.
• Manage programme, risk and project governance.
• Coordinate project managers, consultants and contractors.
• Oversee project budgets and commercial performance.
• Manage stakeholder and authority relationships.
• Support procurement and EPC tendering activities.
• Drive construction delivery and project execution.
• Lead commissioning readiness and project handover activities.

Requirements

• 15+ years' experience delivering major infrastructure, industrial, mission-critical or data centre projects.
• Strong client-side project leadership experience.
• Proven programme and commercial management capability.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Data centre experience highly desirable.
• Fluent English required.
