About the Role

The Project Lead/ Engineer is responsible for managing customer projects from RFQ through New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production. This role serves as the primary contact for customers and coordinates cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and customer requirements.

Job Description

• Lead customer projects from RFQ through New Product Introduction (NPI) to mass production.
• Coordinate RFQ activities and work with cross-functional teams to support timely and accurate quotations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and customer requirements are met.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
• Coordinate Engineering, Production, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolution of issues.
• Support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up to ensure successful product launch.
• Ensure projects are successfully transferred to mass production.
• Prepare project status reports and present updates to management and customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in PCBA, EMS, or electronics manufacturing.

• Experience managing customer projects, NPI activities, or program management is preferred.

• Basic understanding of SMT/PCBA manufacturing processes and project management.

• Able to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and product specifications.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Able to speak and understand Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
