  • Become an expert and own, maintain and help evolve advanced AI based tools by testing and verifying results confidence as well as help develop new tools, in individual capacity
  • Design and execute statistical tests to validate synthetic-data generators and non-survey predictive models (distributional tests, reliability/validity tests, correlation structure checks, hold-out testing)
  • Be responsible for end-to-end handling of any new tool testing process, i.e., determining statistical testing methods, troubleshooting low scores, presenting findings, leading brainstorming discussions, etc.
  • Help with case delivery related to those tools and generate meaningful insights for Bain clients
  • Work under the guidance of a Team Manager / Sr. Team Manager, playing a key role in driving the team’s innovation, especially on data statistics topics
  • Lead internal team calls and effectively communicate data, knowledge, insights and actionable next steps on tool development, relaying implications to own internal team where necessary
  • Keep abreast of statistical and methodological advances relevant to surveys, diagnostic tools, synthetic-data methods, relevant software/tools, and advanced data analytics techniques

ABOUT YOU:

  • Hands-on experience with statistical software (e.g., Python (pandas/ statsmodels /scikit-learn) , or similar) and data-manipulation tools
  • Experience with synthetic-data generation using AI and/or model validation frameworks (predictive, reliability, fairness)
