Project Logistics Executive (12-Month Contract)

Duties and responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and monitor project logistics activities to ensure materials, equipment and tools are delivered to project sites on time.

Coordinate with project team, procurement, suppliers, transporters, forwarders and site personnel on delivery schedules and logistics requirements.

Arrange local transportation, trucking, loading, unloading and site delivery according to project schedule and site readiness.

Prepare, check and maintain logistics documents including delivery orders, packing lists, invoices, permits, customs documents and shipment records.

Track shipment and delivery status, update project stakeholders regularly and highlight any delay, shortage, damage or delivery issue.

Ensure all logistics activities comply with company procedures, project requirements, safety rules, import/export regulations and customs requirements.

Support project material planning by monitoring incoming and outgoing materials, coordinating storage arrangements and maintaining accurate logistics records.

Liaise with warehouse, site team and subcontractors to ensure proper receiving, inspection, handling and handover of project materials.

Resolve logistics issues related to transportation, documentation, customs clearance, delivery coordination and site access.

Verify logistics invoices, delivery charges and supporting documents before submission to the relevant department for processing.

Prepare logistics reports, shipment status updates and delivery summaries for project management review.

Perform any other logistics and project coordination duties as assigned by the superior or Project Manager.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma preferably logistic or equivalent.

Required language (s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

At least 2 years of working experience in the related filed is required in this position.
