About the Role

Are you highly organized, proactive, and energized by keeping projects, people, and priorities on track? We’re looking for an Assistant Marketing Project Manager to support a mission-driven marketing team with the coordination and execution of campaigns and marketing initiatives.

In this role, you’ll turn campaign and project plans into actionable tactics, maintain accurate information in Asana, monitor timelines and team capacity, and help identify potential roadblocks before they become problems. You’ll also coordinate with external print vendors and provide the day-to-day operational support that keeps a busy marketing team moving forward.

This is a 4-month, full-time contract opportunity working 40 hours per week , with a hybrid schedule and an hourly pay range of $25–$32/hour .

What You’ll Do

• Build and manage marketing tactics in Asana based on campaign plans, event plans, tactic requests, and marketing work requests.
• Administer Asana workflows, rules, automations, and forms to maintain accurate information for operations and reporting.
• Monitor project progress, deadlines, and team capacity, proactively identifying trends or risks that could take projects or campaigns off track.
• Escalate potential roadblocks to the Project Manager quickly and clearly.
• Schedule meetings and distribute agendas, notes, and action items as requested.
• Monitor the marketing team’s shared inbox, forwarding and escalating requests as appropriate.
• Coordinate vendor communications, bids, file submissions, and production logistics.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of project management-related experience in a marketing environment.
• Strong proficiency with project management software; Asana experience is preferred .
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience working with data or database systems is a plus.
• Ability to learn new systems and programs quickly.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify gaps and solve problems before they arise.
