Project Management Engineer

About the role

Siliconix Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Engineer responsible for leading cross-functional development and product transfer activities for Power MOSFET products from concept through production release. This role coordinates engineering, manufacturing, quality, marketing, and operations teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet technical, quality, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will drive execution of new product introduction (NPI), technology transfers, cost reduction initiatives, and customer-specific projects while serving as the primary interface between stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams for Power MOSFET product development and New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Coordinate design, process, package, qualification, manufacturing, and customer deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track project status, identify schedule risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project commitments.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings and communicate progress to engineering management and business leadership.
• Coordinate Engineering Build Request (EBR) and product release documentation.
• Work closely with wafer fabrication, assembly, test, quality, reliability, and operations teams to ensure successful product qualification and production ramp.
• Support customer project requirements including qualification plans, PPAP/APQP documentation where applicable, and technical communications.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes, metrics, and best practices.
• Support cost reduction, second-source qualification, capacity expansion, and manufacturing transfer projects.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor product development, manufacturing, or project management.
• Experience with Power MOSFET, IGBT, or other discrete power semiconductor products.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes including wafer fabrication, assembly, test, qualification, and reliability.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferably with Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification.
