Project Management Engineer

About the role

Excel Coil Coating Corp. is seeking a talented and experienced Project Management Engineer to join our engineering team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception through to completion. As a Project Management Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is essential to our operations, requiring resource planning, site coordination, and technical documentation expertise to drive project success and contribute to the company's continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of roofing installation projects to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasting, and financial controls
• Monitor and coordinate with site engineers, sales engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards
• Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions when necessary
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites
• Handle project documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to maintain alignment and manage expectations
• Coordinate logistics, materials, equipment, and resource allocation for project efficiency

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in construction project management or a similar role

• Strong knowledge of roofing installation and related construction methodologies, and safety regulations

• Proven experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost management

• Excellent leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent is highly desirable
