Project Management Engineer - Quality Compliance

ROLE PURPOSE

• Design, develops and implements programs to improve quality management process, minimize quality non- compliances and ensure reliability of water and used water services
• Conducts inspection and audit function on network improvement projects (pipelaying projects) across the enterprise to ensure compliance with MWC quality standards and MWSS Technical Regulatory standards.
• Acts as technical expert in terms of network pipelaying standards and implementation of quality execution procedure and compliance to testing standards
• Performs Root Cause investigations and recommends mitigation measures to prevent occurrence or recurrence of quality issues

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Acts as technical expert in terms of network pipelaying standards and implementation of quality execution procedure and compliance to testing standards
• Train vendors on quality standards to ensure compliance during project implementation
• Initiates and conducts project site audit to ensure proper implementation of quality management system of projects
• Monitor project non-compliance and adequate closing of non-compliance reports
• Co-develops project quality plan, testing standards and quality compliance inspections processes
• Develop programs and strategies on how to ensure compliance of identified site activities for resolution of incident and monitors identified corrective action plan.
• Implement quality programs for employees and vendors to ensure quality procedures are implemented correctly on-site.
• Validates, audits and reports NIP Vendors compliance on network quality execution, traffic and safety standards.
• Validates the root cause analysis, resolution, recommendation and action item submitted by COG-Network Grid team as compliance in the Incident Resolution Policy.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a licensed Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineer.
• Must have at least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in water and used water network distribution, with experience in treatment facilities is an advantage.
• At least 3-year experience in quality compliance management, site audit and incident resolution.
