PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXECUTIVE

About the role

Responsible for supporting project execution for projects based in China through quality control (QC) inspections, site coordination, and project documentation.

Key responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Support in monitoring project progress and preparing progress reports for management.
• Assist in tracking project budgets, variations, and cost control measures.

Site Management

• Liaise with site teams to resolve issues that may affect project progress.
• Ensure adherence to local authority requirements, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Report and address any defects or deviations promptly.

Quality Control

• Inspect and test work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities.
• Take corrective action and ensure defects are rectified before work proceeds.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain daily site logs and progress reports.
• Communicate updates and challenges to the management or higher authorities.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in conducting Quality Control (QC) inspections and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management or site coordination.
• Able to prepare and maintain project reports, including material usage, stock inventory, and project progress.
• Able to work independently and travel to project sites when required.
