Project Management Executive (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and well-organised Project Management Executive to support our construction project team in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The successful candidate will assist in project planning, progress monitoring, documentation, coordination and communication among project teams, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and monitoring construction project activities.
• Track project schedules, progress, deliverables and outstanding matters.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in organising project meetings and preparing meeting minutes, reports and follow-up action lists.
• Maintain proper project documentation, records, correspondence and progress reports.
• Monitor project issues and follow up with relevant parties to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in coordinating site activities, material requirements and project resources.
• Support project progress reporting and management updates.
• Ensure project activities are carried out according to schedules, specifications and company requirements.
• Perform other project coordination and management duties as assigned.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
• 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management or construction-related roles is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant construction or engineering qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
• Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial or large-scale projects will be an added advantage.
• Able to understand basic construction drawings, project schedules and technical documentation.
• Good organisational, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow up on project matters independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Project will be an advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to work in Iskandar Puteri, Johor and attend project sites when required.
