Project Management Implementations Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Project Management Implementations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will lead a client implementation project management team responsible for delivering complex enterprise engagements with consistency, quality, and strong customer satisfaction. The position will shape the strategic direction of the implementation function while balancing near-term delivery needs with long-term scalability and predictability. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to align priorities, anticipate capability gaps, and strengthen the organization’s overall delivery model.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $160,000+ annually

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the client implementation project management team, making timely decisions
• Set the strategic vision and direction for the implementation function, aligning with business goals
• Anticipate future demand and capability gaps, proactively evolving the implementation function
• Partner with leadership across departments to ensure alignment on high-value initiatives
• Balance short-term delivery pressures with long-term scalability and predictability of the function
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and mentoring to project managers
• Hold accountability for successful delivery of client implementations, ensuring quality and satisfaction

Qualifications

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 8 years in project delivery and 2–3 years managing project managers
• Bachelor's degree in business or a project management-related field
• Proven ability to independently lead and manage a project management team
• Demonstrated strategic leadership skills connecting delivery to business strategy
• Experience delivering complex, enterprise-level client implementations across multiple teams
• Strong people management experience, including performance and resource planning
• Proficiency in web-based project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
