Project Manager (ACT)

The Project Manager (ACT) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of remedial construction projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, to the required quality, on programme and within budget.

You will manage planning, procurement, subcontractors, programme, commercial performance and client relationships across the project lifecycle.

In addition to project delivery, the role will also contribute to RM Watson’s growth in the ACT by:

• building and maintaining strong client, consultant and industry relationships;
• identifying potential project and market opportunities;
• providing local market intelligence and industry insights.

Responsibilities

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry, with demonstrated project management experience.
• Experience managing projects over $1M.
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, programming, procurement and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contract documentation.
• Strong client and stakeholder relationship skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, programme and commercial outcomes.
• Experience with Procore, SignOnSite or similar construction management systems
• Remedial construction experience is highly regarded.
