Project Manager (APS / MES Solutions)

About the role

This position involves managing software implementation projects for manufacturing customers in Thailand and ASEAN. The main products are Siemens Opcenter APS (production planning and scheduling) and Siemens Opcenter MES (manufacturing execution system). You will manage multiple projects in parallel. Customers operate in automotive, consumer, semiconductor and electronics, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and heavy industries.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of APS / MES implementation projects from kickoff to go-live and handover
• Develop and maintain project plans: WBS, schedule, milestones, resource allocation, and budget
• Track progress against plan, manage the critical path, and take corrective action when deviations occur
• Coordinate all project phases: requirement gathering, design, configuration / development, testing (SIT / UAT), training, go-live, and hyper-care
• Manage multiple projects in parallel across different customers, phases, and team compositions
• Balance shared engineering resources across projects in coordination with the department manager
• Act as the main point of contact for customer project stakeholders throughout the engagement
• Run steering committee meetings and prepare progress reports, risk summaries, and decision materials
• Manage customer expectations on scope, timeline, and deliverables, and communicate honestly and proactively on project status
• Lead cross-functional project teams including Application Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and subcontractors

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

• 3-8 years of experience in IT or software implementation projects, with at least 2 years in a project management role

• Experience in manufacturing-related IT projects (ERP, MES, APS, automation, or factory systems) is strongly preferred

• Solid project management knowledge, with clear methods for scope, schedule, cost, and risk

• Project scale similar to ours, around 8 to 12 months with custom development
