Construction Project Assistant – Entry Level | We Will Train

Most people don't grow up thinking about a career in mechanical construction. But it's a huge industry with some great opportunities, and you don't need a college degree or construction experience to get started.

We're a family-owned mechanical construction company with over 400 employees, and we're looking for someone who's ready to learn, work hard, and figure out where they want to go.

What's the Job?

You'll work directly with our project managers, estimators, and field supervisors to help keep construction projects running smoothly.

Some days you'll be tracking down materials or checking on orders. Other days you'll be helping set up new projects, working in Excel, or figuring out how to solve a problem.

A lot of it is behind-the-scenes work, but it's how you'll learn the business.

We're not expecting you to know how to do all of this. We'll teach you.

Who We're Looking For

We're less concerned about your résumé and more interested in how you approach work.

• You show up, follow through, and do what you say you'll do.
• You're comfortable with computers and willing to learn Excel.
• You can figure things out instead of waiting for someone to give you every answer.
• You ask questions when you don't understand something.
• You take pride in doing a good job, even with the small stuff.

No construction experience required. No college degree required. Just bring a good attitude and a willingness to learn.

Where Can This Lead?

This doesn't have to be your forever job.

You'll get exposure to different parts of the construction business, and if you show initiative and pick things up quickly, there are real opportunities to move into roles like Project Management or Estimating.

We're looking for someone who wants to grow into more responsibility, not necessarily someone who wants to be an assistant for the next 10 years.

The Details

• Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
• Office-based position
• Occasional overtime, but not typical
• Hands-on training from experienced people
