Project Manager Assistant

Arizona Painting Company is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager Assistant to join our residential painting operations team.

This position will work directly with our Project Managers to help oversee residential painting projects, coordinate crews, communicate with homeowners, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to our company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with overseeing multiple residential painting projects throughout the Phoenix metro area.
• Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress, workmanship, cleanliness, and safety.
• Perform quality-control inspections to ensure projects meet company standards.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project updates, scheduling, and concerns.
• Assist with coordinating painting crews, materials, and project schedules.
• Review project scopes of work and ensure crews understand customer expectations.
• Identify potential project issues and work proactively to resolve them.
• Assist with tracking labor hours, material usage, and project budgets.
• Help manage customer punch lists, touch-ups, and final walkthroughs.
• Support Project Managers in maintaining high customer satisfaction and positive online reviews.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, photographs, and updates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in residential painting, construction, or project coordination preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality workmanship.
• Comfortable using smartphones, computers, and project management software.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
