What they need
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organized Associate Project Manager (APM) to support construction projects in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.
The APM will work closely with the Project Manager, Superintendents, Foremen, field teams, customers, and internal departments to help coordinate projects from planning through completion. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to develop strong construction project management skills and grow into a Project Manager position.
Responsibilities
- Support the PM with day-to-day project management and project coordination.
- Track project schedule, manpower, materials, equipment, and overall progress.
- Coordinate with field teams, customers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Assist with project planning, job walks, material status, and work planning.
- Follow up on submittals, permits, JCANs, documentation, and other project requirements.
- Maintain project records, daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Help identify project issues and communicate them to the PM in a timely manner.
- Assist with material procurement, delivery coordination, and other documentation records.
- Monitor field progress and compare actual progress against the project schedule.
- Learn and understand the full project lifecycle, from estimating/planning through installation, closeout, and billing.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and gradually manage portions of projects independently.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–3 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or project management.
- Understanding of construction processes, field operations, and project documentation.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Excel and able to speak both Mandarin and English.
Preferred:
- Experience working on a TSMC or semiconductor site.
- Experience in construction project management.
- Experience working with cleanroom, MEP, electrical, controls, security, or other semiconductor facility construction.
- Experience coordinating with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, or customers.
- Knowledge of construction schedules, manpower planning, and material management.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, responsible, and willing to learn.
The ideal candidate is not afraid to go into the field, talk with foremen and workers, solve problems, follow up on open items, and take ownership of their work.
This position is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction project management and grow from an Associate PM into a Project Manager.
Construction experience is strongly preferred. TSMC/semiconductor site experience is a major plus.
