Project Manager AutoCAD/Layout Designer

Key Accountabilities

• Create, revise, and maintain accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings, layouts, and technical

documentation

• Develop detailed fabrication, assembly, installation, and production drawings from engineering

concepts and project requirements

• Interpret sketches, engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• Prepare equipment layouts, floor plans, assembly drawings, and Bills of Material
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and customer specifications
• Coordinate drawing revisions and maintain document control
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, Procurement, and Production
• Support design reviews and engineering changes
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications
• Support multiple projects while meeting deadlines
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of AutoCAD drafting or layout experience
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (2D required; 3D a plus)
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Technical Certification
• 3–5 years of drafting experience
• Experience with fabrication/shop drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T;
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or Revit
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Ability to manage multiple projects
