Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at STRATEGICSYNERGY, INC. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the Information and Communication Technology sector, with a focus on programme and project management. This role is strategically important to our organisation, as it ensures that our technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a pivotal role in driving our business objectives forward through effective project delivery and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for Information and Communication Technology initiatives
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business requirements and stakeholder expectations
• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and identify risks, issues, and dependencies with proactive mitigation strategies
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure delivery within agreed parameters
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide comprehensive project reports to senior management and stakeholders
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to ensure quality deliverables and adherence to contractual agreements
• Implement best practices in project management methodologies and continuous process improvement
• Manage project closure activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and stakeholder sign-off
• Escalate issues and risks appropriately and facilitate resolution across organisational boundaries

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the Information and Communication Technology sector
• Professional project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent credential
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams
• Advanced stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, resource allocation, and cost control
• Experience managing complex technology projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders
• Knowledge of ICT industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Filipino
