Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager .NET to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end software projects, working closely with clients, delivery leadership, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic IT MNC environment, managing multiple priorities, and driving projects from requirements through implementation, support, and closure.

Role & responsibilities

1. Work closely with the Delivery Head to understand business and technical requirements and determine appropriate technology solutions.

2. Lead and manage software projects through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.

3. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective planning, prioritization, resource allocation, timelines, and delivery.

4. Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders for requirement gathering, solution discussions, project reviews, status updates, and issue resolution. ISO 9001:2015 Certified Company 100% Export Oriented Unit 3-Tier Access Control Class A Infrastructure 24/7 Video Surveillance

5. Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements in collaboration with development teams.

6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, quality, and budget.

7. Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively implement mitigation plans.

8. Maintain regular project status reports and provide weekly progress updates to management and relevant stakeholders.

9. Drive the implementation and deployment of software solutions for clients and ensure smooth transition to support teams.

10. Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure timely closure of deliverables.

11. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, project plans, status reports, technical documentation, user guides, and implementation-related documents. 12. 12. Act as a key point of contact between clients, project teams, and management throughout the project lifecycle.

13. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and technology enhancements.

14. Mentor and guide new joiners and team members, supporting their technical and professional development.

15. Provide technical guidance and actively participate in solution design and troubleshooting when required.

16. Ensure adherence to organizational processes, development standards, quality practices, and project management methodologies. 18. Effectively manage escalations and communicate project risks, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.

17. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to building scalable and sustainable technology solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework, including .NET 3.5/4.0 or equivalent modern .NET experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in software development and project delivery, with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, WCF/Web Services, and jQuery.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Microsoft development environments.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2005 and above, including database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance considerations.
• Experience in developing and managing large-scale web and database applications.
• Strong understanding of Web Services, APIs, application integration, and third-party integrations.
• Experience with e-commerce integrations will be an advantage.

Project Management & Leadership Skills

• Proven experience in project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
• Strong understanding of project scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
• Ability to lead and motivate technical teams and work collaboratively across functions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to anticipate project risks and take proactive corrective action.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or other structured software development methodologies is preferred.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Client & Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based clients, business users, technical teams, and senior management.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to independently lead requirement , project reviews, demonstrations, and status meetings. Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• A high level of professionalism, ownership, accountability, and responsiveness.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in .NET-based software development, with significant experience in project coordination or project management.
• Candidates with a strong technical background who have progressed into project/delivery management roles are encouraged to apply. Experience working with international clients, particularly US-based clients, will be an advantage.

Work Schedule

• Willingness to work in US business hours / US shift based on project and client requirements.
• Flexibility to support occasional client meetings outside regular working hours when required.
