PROJECT MANAGER

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join SEN HENG RESOURCES SDN. BHD. in Klang, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception through to completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is integral to our success in the construction industry and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organisational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all project activities to ensure timely completion of construction projects
• Managing project budgets, monitoring expenditure and ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle
• Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Overseeing on-site construction activities and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, contracts and correspondence
• Identifying and managing project risks, implementing mitigation strategies and addressing issues promptly
• Managing project teams and coordinating between different trades and departments to ensure seamless execution
• Conducting site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain construction standards
• Ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings and contractual requirements
• Reporting on project progress to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes and safety regulations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Knowledge of Malaysian construction standards and regulations
• Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is preferred
• ONLY MALAYSIAN CHINESE CANDIDATE WILL BE SELECTED
