Project Manager

About the role

Lead end-to-end project delivery across Business Case Development, Design, Implementation and Closure. Plan and lead projects working with cross-functional teams in IT and Business to deliver project outcomes using traditional waterfall, hybrid, or agile delivery models.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery (Business Case Development, Design, Implementation and Closure)
• Plan and lead projects working with cross-functional teams (Onshore and Offshore) in IT and Business to deliver project outcomes using traditional waterfall, hybrid, or agile delivery models
• Develop and maintain a detailed financial plan and resource allocation plan for the project
• Deliver, maintain and update high-quality project artefacts, reporting, and documentation
• Engage with and manage senior stakeholders, vendors, and external partners
• Support change management, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Identify and manage the project changes, risks and issues promptly that may impact project delivery
• Maintain continuous communication with the stakeholders, working groups, and steering committee on the project status and project reporting
• Promote continuous learning within the project team and a collaborative team environment
• Mentor junior project managers and team members and champion best-practice delivery

About you

• A recognised university degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• Strong knowledge and understanding of IT Project Management methodologies
• At least 5+ years in project/program delivery within complex enterprise environments
• Experience managing large-scale technology projects ($10M+), navigating vendor-heavy projects/programs
• Proven experience in working with Executives and Senior Stakeholders
• Previous experience in contract/vendor negotiations and management
• Excellent communication skills, as well as influencing and leadership skills
• Professional project management certifications such as PMP and PRINCE2 are highly regarded
