Position: Project Manager – Solar EPC
Industry: Solar Energy / Renewable Energy / Solar EPC
Location: Mumbai (Powai)
Experience: 8–12 years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech – Electrical preferred

Joining: Immediate / Short Notice preferred

Key Requirement

Solar EPC Project Execution experience is mandatory. Candidates with only general construction or non-solar project experience will not be preferred.

The candidate should have strong experience in independently handling end-to-end Solar EPC projects, from project planning and procurement coordination through execution, commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete Solar EPC project execution from planning to commissioning and handover.

• Handle project planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring and closure.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Stores, Site and Operations teams.

• Review project BOQ, drawings, technical specifications and execution plans.

• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely availability of project materials.

• Manage site execution, contractors, subcontractors and manpower.

• Monitor project progress against planned schedules and milestones.

• Ensure projects are completed within budget, timeline and required quality standards.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, contractors and statutory authorities.

• Identify project risks, delays and technical/commercial issues and implement corrective actions.

• Monitor project-wise cost, billing, collections and profitability in coordination with Finance.

• Ensure proper documentation, project MIS and progress reporting.

• Handle testing, commissioning and project handover.

• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and technical standards.

• Conduct regular project review meetings and provide management updates.

Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of relevant Project Management experience.

• Mandatory Solar EPC experience.

• Strong experience in rooftop and/or ground-mounted solar projects.

• Strong knowledge of solar project execution, EPC processes, BOQ, procurement, commissioning and project costing.

• Strong client management and negotiation skills.

• Excellent project planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
