Project Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and support on-premises IT infrastructure—including servers, storage, and virtualization technologies—while leading maintenance and support services for Microsoft Exchange environments, driving routine system resource monitoring, patch and asset management, troubleshooting, diagnosis & resolution and incident response, etc.
• Oversee mission-critical infrastructure project management, including gathering user requirements from clients, preparing work plans, procuring and managing hardware and software resources, and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before deploying system upgrades to production environments.
• Prepare weekly updates to stakeholders, attend regular meetings with clients and draft meeting materials and minutes for all meetings attended including Management Board Meetings.
• Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders or 3rd party contractors in preparing Disaster Recovery (DR) Drills and Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification (PITC) Work on a yearly or regular basis.
• Lead and manage the Helpdesk support team to deliver high-quality technical assistance and customer service, consistently resolving complex inquiries within established SLAs.
• Oversee hardware replacement tasks from time to time including coordinating with the hardware vendor to meet the contractual SLA.
• Prepare Change Requests, Impact Analysis Reports or other reports when deemed necessary.
• Manage client’s expectations, fulfil acceptance criteria and proceed with billing process on a quarterly basis.
• Manage sub-contractors or 3rd party service providers for maintenance services or project implementation including system upgrade, installation of new updates, provisioning and testing, security risk assessment and audit (SRAA), system handover and production rollout/switchover.
• Manage and control project risks, budgets and expenses for End-Of-Life products, develop and implement mitigation plans to resolve the issues.
• ·Maintain 24/7 standby availability and high vigilance, ensuring rapid incident response and system resilience during critical events.

Job Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Minimum 19 years of IT infrastructure project management experience.
• Holder of Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner or equivalent is a plus.
• Experience in handling Government IT infrastructure projects with in-depth understanding and experience of Government’s contractual agreement is an advantage.
• Proven experience developing and executing deployment workflows for system upgrades and hardware/software replacements within production environments.
• Familiarity with network protocols, Hyper-V, DSDC, DNS, DAG, SSO, S2D, MS Windows/Exchange/SQL Server 2022 etc. is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Huawei Firewalls/Switches, Thales/nShield HSM, F5 Load Balancer, ESKM, Entrust KeyControl and CyberArk, Veeam, Trend Micro/SEP, ManageEngine, PRTG, etc. is a plus.
• Excellent project management, leadership and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, Putonghua is an advantage.
