Project Manager

Scotty's Construction, a leader in bespoke residential builds & renovations, is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Wellington team. With 25 years of delivering high-end homes, we need someone who can seamlessly integrate technical expertise with commercial acumen to drive projects from inception to completion.

THE ROLE

• Oversee project pricing, ensuring accurate estimates & cost control throughout the build process.
• Collaborate with foremen to develop & manage project timelines, ensuring client expectations are met.
• Proactively identify risks & resolve technical issues to keep projects on track & within budget.
• Ensure all projects adhere to quality, safety & compliance standards, protecting our reputation.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors, suppliers & internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, architects & site teams to deliver exceptional results.
• Monitor project progress, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines & client specifications.
• Lead teams with a focus on collaboration, fostering a positive & productive work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Proven experience in managing residential construction projects effectively.
• Strong understanding of architectural new builds, renovations & additions.
• Excellent skills in pricing, estimating & managing project costs accurately.
• Outstanding organisational & communication skills for effective project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strategic approach.
• Practical understanding of NZ residential construction methods & contracts.
• Experience using BuilderTrend is advantageous for project management.
• A trade qualification or construction management background is beneficial.
