About the role

Dong Jian (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Springleaf North Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and delivering construction projects from inception through to completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is instrumental in driving project success and maintaining our reputation as a leading construction organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling and coordinating all project activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project timelines
• Managing project budgets, costs and resources to optimise efficiency and profitability
• Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives
• Monitoring project progress and implementing corrective actions when necessary to keep projects on track
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing project documentation, records and reporting to maintain comprehensive project administration
• Leading site teams and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Identifying and managing project risks, issues and changes to minimise impact on project outcomes
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets specifications and standards
• Preparing project reports and updates for senior management and clients

What we're looking for

• A recognised qualification in Construction Management, Project Management or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, practices and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines and resources effectively
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams
• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent are highly desirable
• Knowledge of Singapore construction regulations and building codes is advantageous
