Specializing in kitchen and bathroom remodeling as well as extensive renovation, we help clients all over the Triangle improve their homes with the kind of caring attention that makes us feel like family. We also offer whole home remodeling and ground-up construction, meeting your needs whether large or small.

As a Residential Construction Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the construction process, responsible for leading residential remodeling projects from planning to completion. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making homes more beautiful, functional, and meaningful.

**We are seeking candidates who currently reside in the Triangle area and can commute daily to our office, located at 5102 Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd, Suite 100, Durham, NC 27707. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM**

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Plan and manage project schedules, job logs, photos, and communications using our CRM.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors to ensure timely, high-quality work.
  • Identify and flag scope changes before work begins.
  • Perform jobsite prep and maintain clean, safe working conditions throughout.
  • Ensure materials are ordered and delivered on schedule.
  • Adhere to building codes and coordinate inspections.
  • Provide skilled labor when needed (e.g., framing, trim, cabinetry, finishing work).
  • Lead and supervise all trades across project phases, from demo through punch-out.
  • Follow and enforce company processes, safety standards, and quality controls.

Qualifications for This Role:

  • Experience: 5+ years in a residential construction-related field, 2+ years managing job sites.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
  • Mechanical Skills: Ability to work with a variety of tools and machines.
  • Math Skills: Ability to measure materials to be cut and installed.
  • Detail Oriented: Ability to be very precise, measure distances and item sizes accurately, and maintain a strong eye for detail.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Ability to solve problems when issues arise in a project and foresee them before they occur.
  • Leadership: Ability to coach, develop, and motivate people.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and teams.

What We Can Offer:

  • Comprehensive benefits package: 401(k), medical/dental/vision, paid time off, sick time, holiday pay, and bonus opportunities.
  • Licensing/professional education (paid).
  • Gas card, company vehicle.
  • An inclusive and collaborative work environment with team support.
  • Semi-flexible scheduling as you become established in your role.
  • Company support for career progression and consistent professional development.

At CQC Home, we don’t just design spaces — we shape homes, families, and communities. If you’re ready to bring your talent to a mission-driven team that values people and design equally, we’d love to meet you.
