Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with client requirements.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation and budgets.
  • Manage project qualities, timelines, budgets and risks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, safety regulations and client requirements.

• Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead cross-functional teams including postsales engineers, vendors and subcontractors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and reporting.

• Risk & Quality Management

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify cabling and IT installations.
  • Maintain quality standards across all deliverables.

• Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare project documentation including work breakdown structure (WBS), issue management list and progress reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, changes, and approvals.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, structured cabling systems, and system integration.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, PMBOK, PRINCE2).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent).

• Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in cabling projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex IT and cabling projects successfully.
