Project Manager

About the role

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of assigned vertical and horizontal construction projects. The role ensures that projects are completed according to approved plans, schedules, budgets, design specifications, quality standards, and company policies. The Project Manager will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and supervise project teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Project Operations and Management

• Lead end-to-end execution of data projects from intake to final delivery.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations and activities of assigned vertical and horizontal projects.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor the overall project schedule to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Monitor project costs and budget utilization, ensuring projects are delivered within the approved budget.
• Prepare and submit regular project progress reports, highlighting accomplishments, issues, risks, and recommended actions.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, standards, and project requirements.

Team Supervision

• Supervise and provide direction to assigned project teams, contractors, and other project personnel.
• Ensure that work is completed within established timelines and in accordance with approved design specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor team performance and address operational concerns that may affect project completion.

Coordination and Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate project activities among cross-functional teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that project teams are aligned with company policies, procedures, standards, and objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination to resolve project-related concerns and avoid delays.
• Maintain good working relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate strong customer service in handling project-related concerns.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate project records, schedules, reports, and other relevant documentation.
• Provide timely updates to management regarding project status, accomplishments, issues, and potential risks.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve project processes, efficiency, and overall project delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must be a Registered/Licensed Civil Engineer (RCE).
• Preferably with experience in vertical and/or horizontal construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, and site operations.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-service oriented and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• With prior leadership experience, preferably with experience supervising or managing a team.
• Willing to work on-site and conduct project/site visits as required.
