Project Manager

• Business / Project execution: a) responsible to achieve flawless launches – full ownership to deliver end to end programs on time, with quality and in charge of profitability (including overseeing SW project management in an Agile environment) b) acts as the Program life cycle owner from Quote to Start of Production; brings strategy and holistic approach c) drives appropriate reviews and escalations, risk identification, change points and mitigation, removes roadblocks
• Cost and budget: a) responsible to support achievement of profitability for their assigned business which includes working closely with Directors, profit management b) CAPEX planning and tracking of spend and contribution – support overall portfolio c) secures appropriation requests’ approvals on time for project execution
• Customer / supplier relationships: a) acts as the customer contact for regular management communication and escalation b) responsible for multiple customers and complex product c) responsible for understanding customer technology roadmap and building relationships with key customers d) support in customer management (especially in critical situations) – works on win-win solutions
• New business: a) supports new business development activities, drive planning, risk management and change points activities b) reviews and modifies the proposed staffing plans
• Continuous Improvement: a) supports enterprise effectiveness/efficiency and lean functional excellence by Lean / I&CIM techniques
• Compliance: a) responsible for complying to standards, policies and procedures, PDP requirements Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, etc. .
• Customer front-end & project experience (2-3 projects) ;
• Strong negotiations skills & strong finance knowledge
• Effective communication skills
• Broad market / customer knowledge
• Software knowledge (basic or advanced)
