Lead the delivery of 3 Waters, drainage and civil infrastructure projects with established Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors.

Rebel Recruitment is partnering with civil contractors across Hamilton, Bay of Plenty, Auckland, Queenstown and Greymouth looking for experienced Project Managers to strengthen their delivery teams.

The work covers water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, pipelines and associated civil infrastructure, with opportunities across both major Tier 1 environments and strong Tier 2 contractors.

The Roles

Various Project Manager positions available, managing 3 Waters, drainage and civil infrastructure projects ranging from approximately $5M to $50M+.

You’ll take ownership of projects from planning through construction, commissioning and handover.

These are site-based delivery roles where you’ll lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors while maintaining control of programme, commercial performance, safety, quality and client expectations.

You’ll be close to the construction, understand what is happening on site and have the authority to drive outcomes.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across programme, cost, safety and quality

• Drive construction planning, methodology and project sequencing

• Manage engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers

• Control forecasting, variations, risk and commercial performance

• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Project Managers who can demonstrate:

• Project delivery experience with a civil contractor

• Strong 3 Waters, drainage or civil infrastructure experience

• Practical understanding of construction methodology and site delivery

• Strong programme, commercial and subcontractor management capability

• Confident leadership with clients and project teams

Your experience will include water and wastewater pipelines, stormwater, deep drainage, pump stations or treatment infrastructure and associated civil works.

A Civil Engineering or construction-related qualification is required, along with strong practical project delivery experience.
