PROJECT MANAGER-PROJECT WILL START IN JANUARY 2027

Job is located in located in Brooklyn, NY. This is a onsite position. We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and help us grow. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and be able to work independently and with minimal supervision. POSITION WILL START IN NOVEMBER. Duties and Responsibilities:

Tasks & Duties

Develop comprehensive project management plans and system documentation

Develops operational and installation procedures for communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and software and lead the planning and implementation of project.

Develops guidelines and upgrade techniques of new operational procedures for the support of databases and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

Define project tasks and resource requirements.

Develop comprehensive project management plans.

Manage project execution from start through completion

Develops and prepares documents for the general design of solutions that meet system and security requirements and manage project resource allocation.

Develops specifications for databases, communication systems, hardware, network, security, storage and plan and schedule project timelines.

Develops structured diagrams for the specifications of databases and track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

Provide direction and support to project team.

Develops, compiles, maintains and documents configurations of the following: databases, servers, computers, security and network monitor systems, packaged programs, macros, utilities and manage project execution from start through completion.

Provide management reporting and information dissemination

Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Provide general programming assistance to other programmers/projects as may be needed.

Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions. Help technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves.

Publish project meeting agendas and minutes from discussions.

Provide management reporting and information dissemination.

Provide project quality assurance

Develop quality assurance metrics to measure outputs. Provide general programming assistance to other programmers/projects as may be needed.

Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Ensure all projects changes meets the developed quality assurance metrics before it is released to the user community.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 Years Experience in overseeing small scaled, non-complex projects, comprised of a small number of deliverables and/or a small number of phases
• Minimum 4 Years Typically coordinates and delegates the assignments for the consultant project staff numbering up to 10.
• Minimum 4 Years Focal point of contact for Issuing Entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, scope changes, and issues and concerns raised by consultant staff or Issuing Entity
• Minimum 4 Years Experience designing 3 tiered applications

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required; Master’s degree preferred. PMP Certification

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and education level, commensurate with skills and ability level, including a bonus opportunity based on performance.
