We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Project Managers with a strong background delivering industrial construction projects valued between $30M and $80M, ideally within the food and beverage manufacturing sector. This opportunity is for a Sydney-based project, we are recruiting nationally with a significant pipeline of future industrial work.

This role will provide a high level of operational support and strategic guidance to our project team and will be considered a leadership position within the group.

About you:

Leading a team of construction staff, you need to be a motivated individual with outstanding leadership capabilities and industry knowledge. 10 year plus experienced, you will demonstrate your professional ability in:

• Autonomous delivery of construct only and/or design and construct commercial building projects in the Tier 1 or Tier 2 space;
• Experience delivering food & beverage, manufacturing, processing or other complex industrial facilities will be highly regarded;
• Leading and managing teams of construction professionals including mentoring, training and performance management;
• Outstanding stakeholder management and client focus;
• An understanding of Building methodologies and current industry best practice;
• Programming skills utilising MS Project;
• Understanding of current QHSE Act and Legislation;
• Quality management and continuous improvement practices and processes;
• Monthly reporting of all project requisites;
• Effective implementation and knowledge of AS Form of Contracts;
• Negotiation and dispute resolution skills;
• Working within externally and FSC accredited systems;

A tertiary qualification in Construction Management, engineering or similar is required as is the ability to operate Microsoft Project, financial system, commercial knowledge, trade knowledge. Experience using CHEOPS is highly desirable. A legal entitlement to work in Australia is essential.
