About the role

Sri Sun Electrical Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic engineering team. This is a full-time position based in the West Region. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is strategically important to our organisation as it directly impacts our project delivery capabilities and client satisfaction, positioning you as a key contributor to Sri Sun Electrical Engineering's continued success and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and engineering teams
• Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
• Coordinate and manage all project activities, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of milestones
• Monitor project progress and performance against established metrics, identifying and addressing any deviations
• Manage project budgets and costs, ensuring expenditures remain within approved limits
• Communicate regularly with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide project updates and manage expectations
• Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans where necessary
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
• Supervise and coordinate with engineering staff, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution
• Document project outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices for future reference

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the engineering or electrical industry
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on schedule and within budget
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software
• Excellent leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Sound financial acumen and budget management expertise
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Familiarity with electrical engineering projects, infrastructure development, or industrial applications is advantageous
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 are highly desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
