About the role

J.V Angeles Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and directing construction projects from inception to completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is strategically important to our organization, as it directly impacts client satisfaction, profitability, and our reputation within the construction industry.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, progress reports, and change orders
• Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and control costs to ensure profitability
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain construction standards
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Handle disputes, claims, and variations with professionalism and documentation
• Report project status to senior management and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations in the Philippines
• Excellent project planning and scheduling skills, with proficiency in project management software
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control project costs effectively
• Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
• Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ASEAN Engineer Registration are preferred
• Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects is advantageous
