Duties

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution by developing detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar project management tools.
• Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking utilizing HeavyBid, Construction estimating software, and other cost management systems.
• Oversee construction site activities ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory compliance including OSHA standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and contracts for accuracy and feasibility.
• Monitor project progress through regular site visits; ensure timely completion of milestones by managing teams effectively and adjusting schedules as needed.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Prolog, or Civil 3D for document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, and progress reporting.
• Facilitate communication across all stakeholders; prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues to support decision-making.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction scheduling tools including Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and project management software like ProCore or Prolog.
• Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction processes including infrastructure projects involving roads, bridges, or utilities.
• Proven ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards; experience with construction estimating is highly valued.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills along with a thorough understanding of schematics and construction plans.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams on-site; proficient in coordinating multiple subcontractors and vendors simultaneously.
• Deep understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, and legal contracts related to commercial infrastructure projects.
• Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines; adept at project schedule coordination.

Pay: $83,359.80 - $130,000.00 per year
