Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

Day One Ventures is looking for Project Managers to take ownership of individual FMCG Wellness or Lifestyle

projects and help take them from an idea or early-stage product to a market-ready, legally compliant and

operationally functioning business.

This is a hands-on role. You will work closely with founders, vendors, agencies and internal teams while handling

everything from product readiness and compliance to marketing, sales, operations and day-to-day execution.

You won't just be managing tasks. You will be helping build and run a business.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

• Own and drive one FMCG, Wellness or Lifestyle project/brand from its current stage towards launch

and growth.

• Plan and execute day-to-day business operations and keep the project moving against

agreed timelines.

• Work with founders and internal teams to turn ideas into executable plans.
• Ensure products are launch-ready, including documentation, packaging and legal/regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, labs, agencies, designers, logistics partners and other external

stakeholders.

• Track timelines, budgets, deliverables and project milestones.
• Identify problems early, take ownership and drive them towards resolution.
• Work across operations, marketing, sales, finance, HR and product development.
• Build systems and processes that improve the efficiency of the brand.
• Lead and coordinate the project team while maintaining morale, accountability and execution speed.
• Present ideas, updates and project progress to founders, teams and external stakeholders.

Represent the brand confidently in meetings, events and public-facing situations.

• Use AI and technology to automate repetitive work, improve productivity and optimize decision-making.

KEY KPIs

• Launch & project timelines: completing key milestones and launches on schedule.
• Product readiness: ensuring products, packaging, documentation and launch requirements are completed.
• Compliance: completing required legal and regulatory requirements before launch/sale.
• Sales &

revenue: working towards agreed sales and revenue targets for the project.

• Cost control: managing project expenses and keeping spending within approved budgets.
• Operations:

maintaining smooth day-to-day execution across vendors, inventory, logistics and internal workflows.

• Team

execution: keeping the team aligned, accountable and moving towards project goals.

• Process improvement:

identifying and implementing ways to reduce manual work, delays and unnecessary costs. WHAT WE'RE

LOOKING FOR

• 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably with an FMCG brand, consumer business or startup.
• A practical understanding of how a business operates.
• Ability to work across multiple functions rather than staying within one department. Strong ownership and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Confidence speaking to large groups and different types of people.
• Someone who does not shy away from difficult situations and faces problems head-on.
• Creative, practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and coordinate people while maintaining team morale.
• A cooperative, team-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines and KPIs.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn areas of business outside your existing expertise.

TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY

You don't need to be an expert in every tool, but you should be comfortable with basic business technology and willing

to learn quickly.

• AI tools such as ChatGPT and other productivity/automation tools

You will learn by actually doing the work, solving real business problems and working with different teams and external

stakeholders.

ROLE DETAILS

Location: Bengaluru

Work mode: On-site

Experience: 1-3 years

Compensation: 30,000-50,000 per month

Project ownership: One primary FMCG, Wellness or Lifestyle project/brand

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
