(Interior Construction)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Resource Management

·        Plan, manage, and control project schedules (Timeline), budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones.

·        Analyze and manage manpower requirements for each project phase. Forecast staffing needs and allocate site supervisors, draftsmen, and subcontractors to ensure optimal productivity.

·        Prepare and present regular Project Progress Reports and Manpower Status Reports to the management.

·        Coordinate with designers, engineers, and site teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to execution.

2. Site Control, Supervision & People Management

·        Supervise construction and interior works to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

·        Manage onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring professional conduct, work discipline, and adherence to company policies.

·        Control site safety, cleanliness, and overall organization. Design and manage site access control systems for all personnel.

·        Inspect work quality and materials prior to handover and resolve site issues promptly.

3. Leadership & Team Development

·        Supervise and mentor project team members, providing guidance on technical issues and professional development.

·        Manage and resolve interpersonal or inter-team conflicts between subcontractors and internal staff to maintain a positive working environment.

·        Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and site staff against project KPIs and quality benchmarks.

4. Client & Stakeholder Communication

·        Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project updates, requirements, and change management.

·        Manage and verify project documentation, including construction drawings, contracts, invoices, and payment claims.

·        Ensure compliance with construction laws, labor regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

·        Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

Experience

·        Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager specifically in Interior Fit-out and Construction projects.

·        Proven track record in managing large-scale teams and multiple subcontractors simultaneously.

Professional Skills

·        Interior Expertise: Strong understanding of interior fit-out workflows, materials, installation methods, and quality standards.

·        Technical Proficiency: Excellent ability to read/interpret Construction & Shop Drawings. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, MS Project, and S-Curve analysis.

·        HR & Leadership Skills: Strong leadership with the ability to manage workforce planning, labor relations, and team motivation.

·        Operational Control: Proven experience in managing site orderliness, contractor access systems, and safety protocols.

·        Communication: Excellent coordination skills. Good command of English (will be a strong advantage for international client coordination).

·        Mindset: Highly detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to perform under high-pressure environments with strong problem-solving skills.
