Job Opportunity: Project Manager (Site Operation)

Role Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and independent Project Manager (Site Operation) to oversee site progress and ensure smooth project delivery You will work closely with the main contractor to coordinate with external stakeholders and handle day-to-day site operations

• Project Management & Execution: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from planning to successful handover. Ensure construction quality, structural integrity, and finishing meet both company standards and statutory requirements.
• Site Monitoring & Control: Oversee and track construction progress rigorously against target milestones to proactively prevent delays and ensure project timelines are strictly met
• Main Contractor Liaison: Act as the primary technical interface with the main contractor to review construction drawings, structural layout variations, and approve material submittals.
• Issue Resolution: Identify, report, and engineer practical solutions for complex on-site technical and structural bottlenecks promptly
• Stakeholder Management: Manage communication and commercial alignment with high-level stakeholders, including clients, landlords, consultants, engineering sub-contractors, and material suppliers.

Requirements

• Education: Degree or Higher Diploma in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of solid, hands-on construction site experience, with a heavy focus on high-end commercial (Grade-A offices / retail malls) or luxury residential fitting-out projects
• Technical Know-How: Deep understanding of fitting-out detailing, high-end millwork, joinery production, ironmongery, and material finishes.
• Drawings & BS Coordination: High proficiency in reviewing and coordinating architectural layout drawings, detail drawings, and Building Services (MEP/MVAC/FS/PD) shop drawings.
• Statutory Compliance: Familiar with Hong Kong building regulations, statutory codes and standard hand-over/fit-out guidelines required by major landlords and developers.
• Languages: Excellent spoken and written English and Cantonese.
• Core Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
• Attributes: Proactive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work independently.
