Project Manager

Logistics Insight Corporation (LINC), a subsidiary of Universal Logistics Holdings, is seeking a Project Manager to support operational startups and customer launches across our network.

This individual will be responsible for coordinating launch activities, working with multiple departments, and ensuring new operations are successfully implemented. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a hands-on approach to supporting launch execution.

Travel is required, with an estimated 36-40 weeks per year spent supporting launch activities onsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support startup and launch activities for new customer operations.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, action plans, and launch deliverables.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Safety, HR, Finance, IT, and customers throughout the launch process.
• Lead project meetings and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Identify risks, track project progress, and drive issue resolution.
• Support staffing, training, equipment installation, and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure launch milestones are completed on time and within project expectations.
• Assist with post-launch stabilization and transition activities.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of project management, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or launch experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects forward.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred

• Experience supporting logistics, warehousing, transportation, automotive, or manufacturing operations.
• Previous startup, implementation, or launch experience.
• Experience working with cross-functional operational teams.
• Automotive industry experience.
