Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage our electrical engineering and BMS projects from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and coordinate projects from commencement to completion.
• Monitor project progress, timeline, budget and quality.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate site activities.
• Monitor project deliverables and ensure works are completed according to project requirements and schedule.
• Prepare, submit and follow up on progress claims, variation orders and related supporting documents.
• Monitor project costs, material requirements and subcontractor works.
• Review project drawings, specifications and other technical documents.
• Manage and coordinate site manpower, including foreign workers, technicians and engineers.
• Assign work, monitor manpower performance and ensure sufficient manpower is available to meet project requirements.
• Identify and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
• Lead and coordinate project team members.
• Coordinate with the Accounts team on project billing, collections and project-related financial matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.
• Provide regular project status updates to management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant project requirements and safety standards.
• Perform other project-related and ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant project management experience.
• Experience in electrical engineering, BMS, ELV or building services projects will be an advantage.
• Strong experience in project planning, site coordination and project execution.
• Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to lead a project team and work independently.
• Willing and available to travel outstation project when required.
