Project Manager

About the Role

The Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects that support SCG's business objectives in China. This role is responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and successful project delivery.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, procurement, and other stakeholders, to ensure effective collaboration.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
• Manage project scope, timelines, costs, and quality while ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and status updates for management and key stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and business partners.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project governance.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in project management, engineering, operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional projects from initiation through completion.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, or equivalent) is an advantage.
• PMP or other project management certification is preferred but not required.
• Communication proficiency in Chinese and English .
