Project Manager

Our client is looking for multiple experienced and motivated Project Managers based in WA and QLD, working on an 8:6 FIFO roster. These are permanent opportunities for someone who wants more than simply managing a project from start to finish.

The role will give you the opportunity to be involved from the outset, helping to:

• Drive project start-up and mobilization

• Build and grow large project crews

• Establish the people, processes and systems required for a successful project

• Manage project delivery, commercial performance and schedules

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and key stakeholders

• Identify and manage project risks

• Maintain high standards across safety, quality and environmental requirements

• Drive projects through to successful completion and close-out

The person I'm looking for will have:

• 5+ years' experience as a Mining Project Manager

• Strong leadership and team-building capability and ability to communicate with stakeholders on all levels

• Proven commercial and project management skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• A solid understanding of open pit mining methods, safety and quality requirements

• A track record of delivering complex projects within budget and timeframe

• WA QM, SSE and S26 certified

What particularly stands out about this opportunity is the chance to help build something from the ground up, rather than simply stepping into an established project and maintaining the status quo. This business has experienced rapid growth, is driven by a highly experienced and motivated leadership team, fostering strong operational culture and an elite machinery fleet.

If you're an experienced Mining Project Manager and open to hearing more about an 8:6 FIFO opportunity in WA or QLD, please apply today or send me a DM for a confidential conversation.
