Project Manager

About the role

This is a Project Management role responsible for tracking overall project progress, collecting work data from all disciplines and organizations, and compiling project reports. The role involves managing project documentation, maintaining schedule models, and coordinating internal and external project meetings across the full project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Track overall project progress, collect work data from all disciplines and organizations, compile and submit weekly project reports, and independently prepare monthly project reports
• Sort out project phase deliverables, schedule variances, risks and issues as well as follow-up plans, and report to supervisors and the client on schedule
• Follow up on the submission progress of various project documents, materials and proposals; record submission dates, review status and feedback comments; update the project submission log in real time
• Sort, proofread and manage external submission of various project technical documents, administrative files and liaison materials; complete data entry, content update and status synchronization in the DPS system
• Maintain and update the Synchro schedule model daily; revise model data and synchronize construction activity status according to site construction progress and plan changes
• Use P6 project management software to monitor project activities throughout the whole lifecycle, track activity execution, resource allocation and milestone achievement
• Coordinate internal and external project meetings, including meeting notifications, venue/online meeting arrangement, document preparation, meeting minute compilation and follow-up of action items
• Handle site safety incidents and other project emergencies as they arise
• Perform other ad-hoc project management and data statistics tasks assigned by supervisors

About you

• College diploma or above, with priority given to majors related to Engineering Management, Project Management, Civil Engineering and Architecture
• 10–15 years of relevant experience in Hong Kong engineering/infrastructure project management
• Experience in MTR or AFC projects is required
• Proficient in P6, Synchro and DPS systems, capable of independently updating project schedules and preparing progress reports
• Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, with good English reading, writing and speaking skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, adept at data organization, ledger setup and report preparation
• Good communication, coordination and execution capabilities, able to liaise efficiently with multiple stakeholders
• Holder of a valid Hong Kong Identity Card, able to work in Hong Kong on a stable long-term basis
• PMP certification is preferred
• Familiarity with Hong Kong project document submission, system operations and meeting coordination processes is preferred
