Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join Dong Jian (Singapore) Pte Ltd in the Springleaf North Region. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception through to completion. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the construction industry and directly impacts the success of our operations in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, and coordinating all aspects of construction projects to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Managing project budgets, monitoring costs, and implementing cost control measures to maintain financial viability
• Overseeing daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and clear communication
• Procuring materials, equipment, and services while negotiating favourable terms with vendors
• Managing project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and progress reports
• Identifying and mitigating risks that could impact project delivery, quality, or safety
• Leading and motivating project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
• Conducting regular site inspections and quality assurance checks to maintain construction standards
• Preparing project reports and updates for senior management and clients

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management in a similar role
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to manage budgets and maintain cost control
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance requirements
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the region
• Relevant certifications such as CMBOK or PMP would be advantageous
