Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee complex infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate project activities, manage teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, scheduling, and cost control will drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent project management software, coordinating all phases of construction activities.
• Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, preparing estimates, and implementing cost control measures utilizing HeavyBid or similar estimating tools.
• Oversee construction site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to facilitate effective communication and project alignment.
• Review construction plans and blueprints; interpret technical drawings such as Civil 3D files to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes through Prolog or comparable contract management systems.
• Supervise project teams on-site and in-office; assign tasks effectively while fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and quality.
• Track project progress using construction scheduling techniques; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or issues.
• Ensure all construction activities meet regulatory requirements and adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and other construction management tools.
• Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes using HeavyBid or similar software; ability to develop accurate cost projections.
• Strong background in construction scheduling coordination; adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, interpreting construction plans including Civil 3D files, and understanding technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment; excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development.
• Familiarity with managing complex infrastructure projects involving civil works, utilities, or heavy civil components.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently; strong time management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of contracts administration including negotiation, change management, and regulatory compliance within the construction industry.
