Project Manager

We’re Hiring: Project Manager – Beauty & Personal Care Manufacturing

DMI Solutions is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and help lead customer projects from initial concept through commercial launch.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, is comfortable managing multiple product launches at the same time and knows how to keep both customers and cross-functional internal teams aligned and moving forward.

The Project Manager will serve as a key connection between our customers and our internal Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, and Operations teams. This person must be able to take ownership of projects, drive accountability across functions, communicate clearly with customers, and proactively address issues before they impact launch timing.

Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple customer projects and product launches simultaneously from initial concept through first commercial production.
• Own project timelines, deliverables, milestones, and critical paths for new product development, tech transfers, and reformulations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, providing regular updates and leading weekly or bi-weekly project calls.
• Proactively drive internal teams and customers to complete required actions and maintain project momentum.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, Regulatory, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to ensure project requirements, responsibilities, and timelines remain aligned.
• Manage the product development lifecycle, including costing, formula approvals, sample submissions, artwork tracking, component readiness, pilot trials, and launch preparation.
• Maintain project trackers, meeting notes, sample logs, timelines, action items, and launch documentation.
• Identify risks, delays, and potential roadblocks early and work with the appropriate teams and leadership to develop solutions and prevent launch delays.
• Partner with Procurement and Operations to understand component availability, lead times, production requirements, and project costs.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of experience in project management or project coordination within beauty, personal care, consumer goods, or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers or within a regulated industry is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, customers, priorities, and launch timelines simultaneously.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and confidence leading project calls and difficult conversations when needed.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, follow up consistently, and adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience with project management tools such as Excel, Smartsheet, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.
