Job description -

• Take overall responsibility for project planning, execution and completion.
• Manage fabrication, erection and structural steel project activities as per approved drawings, specifications and timelines.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, milestones and execution plans.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, contractors, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, machinery and equipment required for project execution.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progresses according to the planned schedule.
• Review project progress and prepare DPR, WPR, MPR and project status reports.
• Coordinate with the planning, design, purchase, production, quality and accounts teams.
• Monitor project costs, material consumption and resource utilization.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
• Ensure fabrication and erection work is carried out according to approved drawings and quality requirements.
• Identify project delays, execution issues and technical problems and take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements and company procedures.
• Conduct regular project/site meetings and communicate progress and critical issues to management.
• Coordinate project billing, measurements, work completion documentation and client approvals.
• Maintain proper project documentation, records and correspondence.
• Ensure timely completion and handover of projects as per agreed requirements.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7 - 20 years of relevant experience in project management/execution.
• Experience in fabrication, erection, structural steel, PEB, EPC or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in site/project execution and project coordination.
• Experience in managing manpower, contractors and subcontractors.
• Good understanding of project planning, scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Ability to coordinate multiple departments and project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Knowledge of project planning tools such as MS Project / Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of fabrication drawings, erection activities and structural steel work.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage projects within time, quality, safety and cost parameters.
