Project MAnager

Role Purpose

To take complete ownership of customer projects from order receipt and engineering through manufacturing, inspection, dispatch, site installation and commissioning, ensuring timely delivery, technical compliance, quality and customer satisfaction.

Sunrise Industries manufactures customized chemical process equipment, storage tanks, reaction vessels, pollution-control equipment, towers, scrubbers, pipes & fittings and other composite/thermoplastic-lined equipment for chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, refinery, pharmaceutical, power, water-treatment and other process industries. Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Manage projects from PO/LOI receipt to final dispatch, installation and commissioning.
• Prepare project schedules, milestones, execution plans and project trackers.
• Monitor project progress against committed delivery dates and take corrective action for delays.
• Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously based on priority and customer requirements.

Engineering Coordination

• Coordinate with Design/Engineering teams for GA drawings, fabrication drawings, specifications, BOM/MTO, nozzle details, material selection and technical documentation.
• Review customer drawings/specifications and ensure proper engineering inputs before production.
• Coordinate technical clarifications and drawing approvals with customers.

Manufacturing Coordination

• Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, FRP/Lining, Procurement, QA/QC and Stores.
• Track raw-material availability, fabrication/lamination progress, inspection stages and dispatch readiness.
• Ensure manufacturing is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Monitor subcontractor/vendor activities wherever applicable.

Quality & Inspection

• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection plans, stage inspections, testing and final inspection.
• Handle customer/TPI inspection requirements and close inspection observations.
• Ensure project documentation and quality dossiers are completed before dispatch.

Site Installation & Commissioning

• Coordinate site erection, installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Plan manpower, tools, equipment and site requirements.
• Resolve site-related technical and execution issues in coordination with engineering and customers.
• Ensure safe and timely completion of site activities.

Customer Management

• Act as the primary project interface with customers, consultants, EPC companies and inspection agencies.
• Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage customer queries, changes, deviations and delivery commitments.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
