Job Title: Project Manager – End-to-End Project Management with Costing Expertise

Location: Bangalore

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Position Overview : Candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects, from inception to delivery. This includes planning, execution, monitoring, and closing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have 10 years above of experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in a product-based environment, with a strong focus on cost management and financial oversight.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution

• Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycles, ensuring all phases from initiation to closure are executed effectively.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with key stakeholders.

• Identify and allocate resources, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with company goals.

• Costing & Budget Management

• Oversee project costing, including estimating, budgeting, and managing project financials.

• Track and report on project financial performance, including identifying and mitigating cost overruns.

• Provide regular financial updates to leadership teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Risk & Issue Management

• Proactively identify project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans and corrective actions.

• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs to minimize impact on project delivery.

• Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including internal teams, senior leadership, vendors, and clients.

• Provide regular project updates, highlighting key milestones, risks, and successes.

• Ensure clear communication between teams to maintain alignment and foster collaboration.

• Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.

• Foster a collaborative team environment to ensure project success.

• Drive performance through coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members.

• Quality Control & Delivery

• Ensure all deliverables meet the quality standards and specifications set forth in the project plan.

• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring the timely completion of all milestones.

• Post-Project Evaluation

• Conduct post-project reviews to assess project success, document lessons learned and identify areas for improvement in future projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, MBA Finance or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10 years above of experience in project management within a product-based company.

Required Skills

• Strong background in project costing, financial forecasting, and budget management.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
