Project Manager

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing glazing projects from handoff through closeout. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and company standards.

Project Management

• Manage commercial glazing projects from award through completion
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, and scope requirements
• Create and maintain project schedules and milestones
• Coordinate material procurement and deliveries
• Track project budgets, labor costs, and profitability
• Ensure RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings are completed and tracked
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, field crews, and fabrication
• Manage project closeout documentation and punch lists

Communication & Coordination

• Maintain professional communication with clients and team members
• Lead project meetings and coordination discussions
• Provide clear direction to field crews and shop personnel
• Communicate schedule changes and project concerns promptly

Financial Oversight

• Track and submit change orders in a timely manner
• Review vendor invoices related to assigned projects
• Assist accounting with billing support and collections
• Protect company margins through proper planning and execution

Safety & Quality

• Promote and enforce company safety standards
• Ensure installations meet quality expectations
• Coordinate inspections and resolve deficiencies promptly

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Projects completed on schedule
• Projects completed within budget
• Gross profit margin maintained or improved
• Timely completion of RFIs and submittals
• Delivery coordination accuracy
• Effective communication with customers and crews

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in commercial glazing or construction
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
